1. About Hearthflow
Hearthflow is a household scheduling and planning service including a family calendar, parking planner, dinner plans, and an AI-powered chat assistant. Contact: hearthflowltd@gmail.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to create an account and subscribe. By using Hearthflow you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Free Features
The calendar, parking planner, and dinner plans are available to all registered users at no charge.
4. Hearthflow Premium Subscription
4.1 What's included
Hearthflow Premium unlocks the AI Chat Assistant for all members of your household. The daily limit is 200 AI messages per household.
4.2 Pricing
- Monthly: £5.00 per month (inc. VAT where applicable)
- Yearly: £50.00 per year (inc. VAT where applicable)
4.3 Billing and renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will receive a reminder before renewal. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time via the Billing page in your account settings.
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a period, except where required by law.
4.5 Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will notify you and provide a 3-day grace period before Premium features are suspended. You can update your payment details via the Stripe Customer Portal.
5. 14-Day Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason ("cooling-off period").
However, by subscribing and checking the consent box at checkout, you expressly request that the service begins immediately and acknowledge that you waive your right to cancel once the service has commenced. If you have not used the Premium features, you may still be entitled to a proportional refund — contact us at hearthflowltd@gmail.com.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls
- Use the AI chat to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
- Share your account credentials with people outside your household
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
7. AI Chat — Important Notice
The AI chat assistant is powered by Anthropic's Claude. AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI suggestions. Calendar changes made via the chat can be undone manually.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of Hearthflow is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep Hearthflow available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hearthflow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
